WALKING AND EXPANDING DUELS

These features build on the classic DuelReels™ with additional functionality. All duels show a monster that you must defeat. Depending on the duel type, additional mechanics then trigger.

Walking Duels

Land Walk VS scatter symbols to activate Walking duels. Multiple Walk VS symbols can land simultaneously. Activated Walking duels are always wild and have a multiplier value at the top.

If the monster is defeated, the multiplier is applied to the whole duel. Any winning lines that connect with the duel are multiplied by the value of the multiplier. If more than one Walking duels are part of the same winning combination, their multiplier values are first added together and then applied to the win.

The possible multipliers are: 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 150x, 200x.

Defeating the monster in at least one duel awards a respin. Duels where the monster was defeated remain active and walk across the reels to the left. Each Walking duels moves one reel to the left, unless blocked by the edge of the grid or another Walking duels. Walking duels where the monster was not defeated are removed. New Walk VS symbols can land on the respin to activate new Walking duels. Each active Walking duels then triggers a new duel with a new monster and the process above repeats.

Expanding DuelReels™

Land the green Expand VS scatter symbol on reels 2, 3, 4 or 5 to activate Expanding duels. Only one Expand VS symbol can land at a time. Activated Expanding duels are always wild and have a multiplier value at the top.

If the monster is defeated, the multiplier at the top is saved at the bottom of the duel. The Expanding duel then grows one reel to the left, unless blocked by the edge of the grid, and triggers a new duel with a new monster, and the process repeats. The value of the bottom multiplier is accumulated from all defeated monsters.

The possible multipliers are: 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 150x, 200x.

If the monster is not defeated, or after the Expanding duel can not grow any further to the left, the multiplier value saved at the bottom is applied to the whole duel. Any winning lines that connect with the duel are multiplied by the value of the multiplier.

BONUS GAMES

All landed TOMB and CURSE symbols turn into wilds if they are or will be a part of a win or if they can trigger a bonus feature.

THE CURSE

Landing 3 CURSE scatter symbols during one round in the base game activates THE CURSE bonus game. Symbols can be accumulated during a whole round, including respins.

This bonus awards 10 free spins with a higher chance of landing Walk VS and Expand VS symbols.

THE TOMB

Landing 3 TOMB scatter symbols during one round in the base game activates THE TOMB bonus game. Symbols can be accumulated during a whole round, including respins.

The symbols appearing in this feature are: Tomb VS symbols, Epic VS symbols, Unlock symbols, Golden Unlock symbols, and non-paying symbols. This bonus has special locking reels with a multiplier above each reel. The bonus ends when all 5 reels are locked simultaneously. Reels 1 and 5 start locked. The paid award will equal the total of all multipliers times the bet level. Land Tomb VS scatter symbols to activate Tomb duels with a multiplier value at the top.

If the monster is defeated, the duel multiplier is added to the multiplier above the corresponding reel.

The possible multipliers are: 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 150x, 200x.

If the monster is not defeated, the corresponding reel is locked. Land Epic VS scatter symbols to activate Epic Tomb duels. Epic tomb duels have a multiplier at the top that can be either adding or multiplying.

If the monsters are defeated, the duel multiplier is applied to all unlocked reels’ multiplier values. If the monsters are not defeated, the reel where the Epic VS symbol landed is locked.

The possible adding multipliers are: 25x, 50x, 100x, 150x, 200x.

The possible multiplying multipliers are: x2, x3, x4, x5, x10, x15, x20.

Locked reels can be unlocked individually by landing 4 Unlock symbols simultaneously on a reel, shown in the cutouts on each locked reel. Unlock symbols can only be landed on locked reels.

Landing the Golden Unlock scatter symbol unlocks all reels at once! The Golden Unlock symbol can only land on unlocked reels.

SPECIAL SYMBOLS

The Wild symbols substitutes for all High or Low paying symbols.

The Wild, Walk VS and Expand VS symbols do not appear in The Tomb bonus game. Walk VS and Expand VS symbols cannot appear at the same time. The CURSE and TOMB symbols appear only in the base game on reels 1, 3 and 5.
